Farewell Announcement: Coach Tarbell's Departure

John Tarbell

Dear East Longmeadow Marlins Swimmers and Families,

I hope this email finds you well. It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of some significant news.

I have been offered an exciting opportunity to pursue a my dream career with Boston Emergency Medical Services. While I am thrilled about this new chapter in my life, it is bittersweet to say goodbye to the Marlins family.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout my time with the Marlins. It has been an absolute privilege to work with such talented and passionate swimmers, as well as supportive families who have made this experience truly memorable.

I will cherish the countless memories we have created together, from fun Friday practices to exhilarating swim meets, and everything in between. Your commitment to excellence and teamwork has been truly inspiring, and I am immensely proud of all that we have accomplished together as a team.

While I may be moving on to new endeavors, please know that I will always hold a special place in my heart for the East Longmeadow Marlins. I have no doubt that the team will continue to thrive under the guidance of our dedicated coaching staff and the leadership of our outstanding swimmers.

As my time with the Marlins comes to a close, I want to extend my sincerest thanks to each of you for your support, encouragement, and friendship. I will miss being a part of this incredible community dearly, but I am excited to see what the future holds for both myself and the Marlins.

If you have any questions or would like to stay in touch, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to hear from you and continue to support the Marlins in any way that I can. Over the past three weeks I have been working closely with Cora and the recreation office to ensure my departure is without major issue to the team.

Thank you again for everything, and please know that I will be cheering you all on from afar as you continue to make waves both in and out of the pool.

Until we meet again; Just keep swimming,

John W. Tarbell
